We’d been operating The Horseshoe Lounge and Jonesy’s EatBar for a year or so, when we were asked:

“What’s your mission statement?

Well, hmmmmm…

We knew we had created a great team who truly cared about our neighborhood customers. We had nice looking places and tried hard to keep everything consistent and clean.     

With the addition of each employee we began to assess them for that elusive trait: the ability and desire to Make Regulars. 

So, we asked, isn’t Make Regulars it? Isn’t that ugh?our Mission Statement? (Is it even long enough)

After all these years and all these locations, is sure was and it still is!

Making Regulars doesn’t just happen, it takes hard work from a dedicated group of bartenders, cooks, servers, food runners, managers and proprietors. It takes communication with a network of supporters from distributor’s reps to cleaning crews to the folks who deliver the bar towels. It takes contractors, trades people and designers who see our vision and help it come to life.  

But most of all, it takes a community of neighborhood people to give us a chance, spend some time with us, and allow us the privilege of welcoming them as friends and extended family.  

We LOVE what we do and we love that our various neighborhood spots in Denver have welcomed us as their gathering place.
